About DigiRoots

Our Mission
To spark a lifelong love of technology in Nigerian children by giving them early, hands-on digital skills — preparing them to thrive in school, work, and life.

Why DigiRoots?
In today’s digital age, basic computing skills are as essential as reading and writing. Yet millions of Nigerian primary school students still leave the classroom without ever touching a computer. Without early exposure, they face steep learning curves later in life — especially as secondary and tertiary education increasingly rely on digital tools. DigiRoots bridges this gap by introducing children to computers during their most formative years, when curiosity and creativity are at their peak.

Our Approach
DigiRoots is more than just a curriculum. It’s a nationwide strategy built around:
*A three-level, age-appropriate digital curriculum covering basic familiarity, practical use, and creative coding.
*Teacher training and local support, ensuring educators feel confident and capable.
*Mobile solar-powered ICT labs, bringing technology to underserved and rural communities.
*Local language resources, so learning is inclusive and culturally relevant.

Rooted in National Goals, Digi-Roots aligns with Nigeria’s Digital Economy Policy (2020–2030), aiming to build digital capacity and competitiveness for a new generation.

By reaching children early, we plant the seeds for:
*Improved academic performance
*Better job readiness in the digital economy
*Safer, more responsible digital citizens
*Stronger national competitiveness on the global stage

Together, We Grow
At DigiRoots, we believe every Nigerian child deserves the chance to explore, create, and connect through technology — no matter where they live.

Join us in making early digital literacy a reality for millions.
