Description
This course helps children move from knowing what computers are to actually using them for learning, creativity, and communication. Learners will practice real-world digital skills like creating and saving files, typing and editing documents, browsing the web safely, and sending friendly emails. They’ll also enjoy educational games, explore multimedia like music and videos, and learn how to protect themselves from common online risks. By combining guided practice with engaging activities, this level makes digital tools part of everyday life.
Intended Audience Description
Designed for Nigerian children aged 9–10 who already have basic familiarity with computers. It is suitable for children in both urban classrooms and rural schools reached by mobile ICT labs, helping them move from simply recognizing computer parts to confidently using them for real tasks. This course is perfect for learners eager to do homework on a computer, explore the internet, and communicate safely online.
